About Us

They say that nothing worth doing is easy. Like every successful business, we’ve had our bumps in the road. But we wouldn’t change a thing. Why? Because throughout our journey, we’ve honed our skills and are willing to put our abilities to the test; so our clients can benefit from our years of experience.

Our Story

Like all great things, we are starting small. We took a shared vision—and ran with it!

Pandemic Press Publishing is a small publishing house, founded in 2020--by CEO's/Owners Samuel and Bobbie Cubbage, during the COVID 19 Pandemic.

Bobbie- a teacher, writer, entrepreneur and certified life coach, decided that she needed to do a little more during the pandemic. Other than cooking, cleaning, shopping for supplies and basically, 'running around, doing it all'... as Samuel worked from home, Bobbie bounced different ideas around. “We already have a Podcast, and a small homemade soap company. I want to do something that will continue to make a difference. Just like teaching.”

Bobbie already had two self-published books on Lulu.com. “Why don’t I (or we) start a Publishing company?!” Samuel says, “Go for it!” And here we are!

Samuel- a credit specialist, entrepreneur and certified life coach, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Studies from Arizona State University.  And was the first (out of our group of friends in college),  to get a job in the broadcasting field (at two local radio stations), before graduation.

Samuel also landed a job at a local Gospel radio station as a co-host of a teen talk show.

Samuel serves as Marketing and Promotions Director of The CCI Radio Show.

Since starting PPM, Samuel has written a book as a tribute to his late father, Samuel J. Cubbage Sr. titled, "Hey, Boy! A Tribute To My Dad, Samuel J. Cubbage Sr."

Bobbie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting from Point Park University. Bobbie was awarded the CSB Minority Student Award, won the Professor William A. Schmid Jr. Memorial Scholarship.

Bobbie was a writer for the Point Park College newspaper (The Point); as well as a writer and editor of the Community College of Allegheny County (Boyce campus) newspaper.

Bobbie worked for two of the local Gospel radio stations in Pittsburgh, as an on air talent, after graduating from Point Park.

Bobbie’s books published by www.lulu.com, are called, "A Bedtime Story for Annika". and a short story called, "I'm Embarrassed To Say, I Was A Gospel Radio D.J". Bobbie worked as a freelance writer for  several of the local newspapers. Including, the Pittsburgh Press, The Post Gazette and the Tribune Review. Bobbie also wrote for a nightlife magazine called Post Meridian.

As a teacher, Bobbie taught different age levels writing classes. At the preschool, Bobbie taught a class called, "The Budding Author Brigade" (along with two other teachers), to three and four year old children.

And since starting PPM, Bobbie has wrtten several other books.

Together, Samuel and Bobbie have published several newsletters over the years:

Revelations Newsletter 2003-2007:  focused on religion, music and other events. Distributed to Family Christian Book Stores.

Praise Newsletter- MOBC of Sharpsburg, PA-- Co- creators and editors-- 2013 to 2022. Focus on the church and all events within.

And currently, PPM Magazine!

Samuel and Bobbie are both members of www.voice123.com, Forbes BLK, and the NABJ.

So, it was almost destined that we would start a Publishing Company!
